Where are the comments?

You may have noticed that posts previous to 2/29/12 are mysteriously lacking comments.

To make a long story short, I had a deluge of SPAM comments invade my site and the only way my hosting company could alleviate the problem was to delete every comment ever written. I don’t know why they couldn’t just weed out the SPAM comments, but thus was the case and there’s nothing I could do about it.

Wah, wah… I threw myself a little pity party and moved on.

From now on there shouldn’t be any issues with comments, (I’ve installed a captcha to deter SPAM), so I urge you to leave one whenever you like!

I love hearing from my readers, so please keep those comments coming =).

Hi! I made a pizza from a recipe of yours not too long ago, and loved it so much that I wanted to make it again! But… I can’t find it on your site!!! It had a black bean purée as the sauce with diced tomatoes, corn, red onion, & shredded cheese. I can remember the staples, but as far as what spices I mixed in with the purée – I am at a loss! Please help!

I’d like to pin this on Pintrest. If you disapprove, please let me know! We had a similar dish Sat. night and it was fabulous but I’m sure your recipe is a LOT healthier!!

  • Hi,

As a lover of both italian and authentic Mexican Cuisines, I really like your recipes. And the healthy way they are arranged. I am also one eat healthy. Thank you for your input. I was looking for a carnita recipe, and yours came up, I only had a 3 lb pork loin and there it was pictured on your site. LOL.

    Thanks Again,
    Cynthia

I LOVE the way you have presented this recipe with clear beautiful photos that show exactly how each step should be done. It looks like I could actually do this without any confusion. Actually, it looked so delicious, I want to make this soon. Thank you for explaining the “how to” so well.

  • hi! this apple granola recipe you have is just what i’ve been looking for! when i envisioned it, i thought it would be good with a little applesauce, which you do include. however, i’m concerned about how well the recipe will keep, since applesauce has to be refridgerated.

i prefer to keep my granola in plastic bags, outside the fridge. what is the shelf life of this recipe, and can it be counter kept? thanks so much!

    • I’d say the apple granola will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for about 5 days or so. You might want to store the dried apples separately to further extend the shelf life =). Enjoy!
