Premature, but absolutely necessary.

I tried.

I really truly tried to wait until September 23 to break into my first can of pumpkin for the fall season.

But between this being my current computer wallpaper:

… tons of pumpkin inspiration from Pinterest, Foodgawker, Tastespotting, and many of the blogs I follow…

and lusting after every oversized scarf and cozy sweater I come across, I am officially ready for fall; and that means stockpiling obscene amounts of canned pumpkin puree.
