Today my husband turns 30, and tomorrow we celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary.
John has been my best friend for over 10 years, through 7 moves amongst 3 states.
He is a great guitar player…
and a loving caretaker who will someday be a wonderful dad.
John always knows how to make me laugh…
even during the most stressful times (dealing with the destructive aftermath of Hurricane Ike in Houston, below).
He made me incredibly happy the day we became husband & wife 3 years ago…
and is a constant source of sunlight in my life.
He let me choose our honeymoon locale (Grand Tetons National Park in Jackson Hole, WY)…
and has accompanied me on countless hikes despite it not being his most favorite thing to do.
We had a blast dressing up for various theme parties in college:
John works incredibly hard at work, but also knows how to relax…
and isn’t afraid to act like a kid from time-to-time.
He is my constant source of support and always lends a shoulder to lean on.

Haha… thanks! The funny thing is that I’m pretty sure each of those photos was from an infamous Lafayette frat “porn star” party. We were much more tame for Halloween ;).

Jackson Hole is one of my favorite places in the world! I worked on a dude ranch with my best girlfriends the summer after college graduation…AMAZING!
